Shot Design
From concept to final
For the psychological drama, Too Close, we were tasked with several "sleight of hand" shots that required a high degree of planning and design.
Starting with concept images, we presented ideas to the production team. In one, a black tarpaulin was blown across a road to settle on a traffic light, creating a demon face.
It was essential to get this shot right because it marked the beginning of a key scene pivotal to the story.
With an agreed design and several recces, we worked with the Art Department and SFX to get the practical elements shot.
