With this viral ad for Mercedes, the intention was to shoot the whole spot with rear projection instead of traditional green screen, which provided a unique, retro look. Armed with two 1500 lumen projectors and a Mac capable of playing back multiple streams of video, Lexhag set to work.
Our on-set technicians had full control over live colour corrections, simple effects and re-timing were available in realtime, which made the process run a lot more efficient than traditional set-ups.
